The Sargent 1431-H8-EP-RH Surface mounted door closers are designed for interior and exterior doors with quality and flexibility to meet virtually every application. This 1431 closer provides flexibility to match nearly any commercial or industrial application. The spring size is adjustable to fit any application. The 1431 Series door closers are certified to the ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 requirements.

The standard application of the 1431 door closer is the most common and the most desirable. The closer mounts on the hinge (pull) side of door (except when the W Corner Bracket is used).
