281-O8-10BE Sargent 281 Series Powerglide Cast Iron Door Closer with Regular Duty Mortise Foot Arm in Dark Oxidized Satin Bronze Finish
The Sargent 281-O8-10BE heavy duty door closers are designed for interior and exterior doors with quality and flexibility to meet virtually every application. All 281 Series closers are equipped with fluid that allows the units to operate effectively in extreme temperatures without readjustment. The spring size is adjustable to fit any application. The 281 Series door closers are certified to the ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 requirements.
The standard application of the 281 door closer is the most common providing high degree of door control and range of power adjustment. The closer is mounted on the pull side of the door with the arm mounted on the face of the frame. When the door opens, the arm passes over the top of the door.
