The Best 45HW7TDEL15N605RQE12V Series mortise lock provides toughest electromechanical security for your building. The 40HW series provides a way to lock and unlock the door from a remote location for safety, security, or convenience through an individual switch, switch lock, relay, access control system, or other automatic control system. The Best 40HW series are certified to ANSI A156.13, Series 1000, Grade 1 operation.
TDEL-Fail Safe: Latchbolt operated by outside key or outside lever/knob when power is removed from the solenoid. Latchbolt deadlocked by auxiliary latch. Deadbolt operated by outside key. Outside lever/knob locked by applying power to the solenoid. Outside lever/knob unlocked by removing power from the solenoid. Inside lever/knob is always unlocked.
