The Best 45HW7WEL15N619RQE12V Series mortise lock provides toughest electromechanical security for your building. The 40HW series provides a way to lock and unlock the door from a remote location for safety, security, or convenience through an individual switch, switch lock, relay, access control system, or other automatic control system. The Best 40HW series are certified to ANSI A156.13, Series 1000, Grade 1 operation.
WEL - locked fail safe: Latch operated by Inside or outside lever when power is removed from the solenoid and inside or outside key latchbolt is deadlocked by an auxiliary latch. Inside or outside lever locked by applying power to solenoid; remains locked while power is on.
