The Von Duprin 6211-12VDC-US32D series of Electric Strike is a perfectly designed product to provide remote release of a locked door as it allow the door to be opened without retracting the latchbolt. This entire process happens by releasing of the electric strike lip also called the" keeper " or gate, when the door closes and the beveled latchbolt rides over the lip and falls into the electric strike pocket. The 6211 series offers a nice variety of electric strikes with highly customizable features for use on new installations with mortise locks without deadbolt or cylindrical locks on a single door, hollow metal frame applications. It is an excellent choice for new construction applications. The electric strike and door hardware together secure your door more safely.
