6224AL-FS-DS-24VDC-US32D Von Duprin Closed Back Electric Strike for Mortise or Cylindrical Devices in Satin Stainless Steel Finish
The Von Duprin 6224AL-FS-DS-24VDC-US32D series of Electric Strike is specifically designed to provide the remote release of a locked door as it allow the door to be opened without retracting the latchbolt. This process happens by releasing of the electric strike lip also called keeper or gate, when the door closes and the beveled latchbolt rides over the lip and falls into the electric strike pocket. This feature known as remote release provides added benefits such as increased convenience and efficiency. The 6200 series electric strikes also provide added security and traffic control. The 6224AL series offers a good variety of electric strikes with highly customizable features for use on new installations with mortise locks without deadbolt or cylindrical locks on 1 3/4" (44mm) or 2 1/4" (57mm) thick aluminum double door applications.
