The 6K series is constructed of steel or brass to ensure the overall strength and durability of the lock. The Best 6K series are listed by the BHMA for A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2.

Office: Latch operated by rotating inside knob and outside knob only when outside knob unlocked. Turning key in outside knob. Outside lever locked by pushing the inside button and Pushing and turning inside button keeps outside knob locked until the button is turned back. Inside lever can not be locked.
