The BEST 8K Series is constructed of steel or brass to ensure the overall strength and durability of the lock. The Best 8K series are listed by the BHMA for A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 1.
Apartment lock: Latch operated by rotating inside knob, rotating the outside knob when not locked by inside key or turning the key in the outside knob. Outside knob locked and unlocked by turning the key in the inside knob. Inside knob always unlocked
