The Glynn Johnson 906F-US3-SOC 90 Series surface-mounted friction hold open are rugged models designed for the heavier duty applications and provides long-lasting protection for doors, frames, hardware and all models incorporate a heavy-duty channel and slide-arm design and offset jamb bracket. These versatile units can be used in combination with most surface-applied door closers. These model templates are designed for installation in almost all types of doors, including doors with conventional butt-type hinges or specialty hinges. The 90 series is constructed from stainless steel material and provides durable life and is easy to install.
Friction hold-open models are ideal for patient room doors, wardrobe and closet doors or similar applications where multiple hold-open positions are desired. The friction tension adjustment is located on the top of the slider in the channel.
A screw package with pin-in-socket screws for mounting the door bracket and the jamb bracket is provided instead of the standard screw package.
