The Corbin DC8220-689 heavy duty door closer series is the perfect choice for high-use openings that must meet ADA requirements. A variety of arms, finishes and quality features make the easy-to-install. This door closer series is ideal for schools, office buildings, health care facilities and retail complexes. The DC8220 series meets or exceeds ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 requirements. The DC8000 ensures quality and long-lasting performance.
Top jamb: Closer is mounted on the frame on the push side, with the arm perpendicular to the face of the door. Arm bracket is mounted on the door. Minimum 1-3/4" (44mm) top jamb required. Accommodates reveals up to 3-1/4" (83mm).
