EAX-500W Detex Battery Powered Weatherized Surface Mount Alarm
The Detex EAX-500 is designed for doors you want secured by a battery operated alarm - it has no lock but the 100db ear piercing siren will alert anyone around that the door has been opened without a key. The small and attractive shape of this door hardware can be enough to ward off unauthorized exits all on its own.
*No cylinders are included with this unit (the cam lock towards the top is included - this is how you take off the cover to replace the battery). A mortise cylinder is required to use this lock from inside (cylinder in bottom). If you want to operate this lock from outside the door you will need to purchase a rim cylinder too
