LMS-1 Securitron Latch Monitor
The Securitron LMS-1 series of Latch Monitors is specifically designed for reporting back to an alarm system to indicate that a door is latched, thereby reducing the possibility of false alarms. The LM series interfaces with an access control or alarm system to indicate the state of the latchbolt. It can be used alone or in conjunction with a door position switch, the LM provides confirmation that the door is secure thus preventing false alarms and unauthorized access while providing tamper detection. It is also used to provide an initiate signal to model XDT delayed egress logic timers.
